If you visit the Eaglesoft support forums, you'll find that the Avidyne Initialization Error Code 1001 is related to a missing or corrupt license file. Eaglesoft products are heavily integrated and do not lend themslves to modification easily. Whoever "cracked" the airplane program needs to crack it with a valid license.

I have noticed, however, that the Garmin GNS430 unit in this aircraft has outdated Jeppesen Sanderson software. The "Effective" date show 08-Aug-2002 and the "Expires" date is 05-Sep-2002. I am unaware if this can be updated to the current date or not, but this could also be causing the Error Code problem.

If anyone can find a solution, please post it!

Error Code 1001 is indeed related to a missing / corrupt license file.

If you have a 64-bit system like I do.. you can correct this by copying your license file from your system32 folder into your wow64node folder.
